Currently, one is being constructed in Sarasota at the intersection of Interstate 75 and University Parkway.

Highway A1A is a Florida Highway that links many of Florida’s east coast beaches from Miami to Fernandina Beach north of Jacksonville.
A vast majority of the highway is within a half-mile of the Atlantic Ocean, and some of it is just feet from the ocean’s waves.
