Interstate 95 is a 1,924-mile highway, starting in Miami and ending in Houlton, Maine at the Canadian border. It then resumes in the Canadian province of New Brunswick as New Brunswick Route 95.

The Water Tower Fire
It’s currently the dry season in the State of Florida.
While most years are somewhat dry with relatively few high fire danger days, some years are exceptionally dry. This has been one of those years.

Hi, everyone. Back on April 1st, a press release came out that I had been released as a writer and contributor for Take The Highway.
This was simply a joke. I’m not going to fire a founding member.

We here at Take The Highway strive to bring you–the reader, the adventurer, the knowledge-seeker–the very best content we can possibly offer.
We are a new and growing website, having been around for less than one year. As is the nature with such things, sometimes changes are required along the way.
It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the firing of writer Steve Gearen. An original member of the staff, Steve joined Take The Highway at its founding in July of 2015.
Steve has worked tirelessly to provide numerous articles for our site.
It is at this time, we must thank Steve for his hard work and dedication to Take The Highway, as we, regretfully, must take the highway in a different direction moving forward.
We wish Steve the very, very best in any and all future endeavors.
